The different entities that constitute the ABC CoLAB have gathered at the University of Algarve in the past Friday to formalize the Association.
The public deed of ABC Collaborative Laboratory: Integrated Aging and Rejuvenation Solutions was performed last Friday June 29, in Faro.
ABC CoLAB proposes a transversal and multidisciplinary approach to address aging complexity. The association assembles the expertise of two research units ABC-RI and Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, ISCTE), one University (UALG), two municipalities (Albufeira and Loulé), one state laboratory (Instituto Português do Sangue e da Transplantação, IPST) and six private companies (Vodafone, ICNAS PHARMA, Algardata, Garvetur, PremiValor e Sea4Us).
ABC Collaborative Laboratory intends to potentiate highly qualified jobs, research and innovation in the Algarve region to address the challenges of Aging and impact on people´s quality of life, society and economy in the south of Portugal.
