ABC-Ri has been ranked as “Very Good” in FCT’s R&D Units Evaluation

The Algarve Biomedical Center Research Institute (ABC-Ri) has been ranked as “Very Good” by the international evaluation panel in the field of Biomedicine, as part of the 2023/2024 Multiannual Funding Programme for R&D Units promoted by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).

This recognition reflects the high scientific quality of the research carried out at our institute and reinforces the confidence in our mission.

This evaluation is also a powerful motivation to continue working with dedication and excellence as we implement our strategic work programme for the 2025–2029 period. We remain committed to advancing science and innovation in the service of health.
