David Brito, researcher at the Algarve Biomedical Center Research Institute (ABC-RI), was recently distinguished with the “Foundation BrainAid IZN Dissertation Award 2022”, given by the BrainAid Foundation (Heidelberg, Germany) to the best doctoral thesis.
The award aims to distinguish the best research work carried out within the scope of a consortium of 59 laboratories at the universities of Heidelberg and Mannheim, Max Planck Institute for Medical Research and DKFZ – The Interdisciplinary Center for Neurosciences (IZN).
The award ceremony took place on the 19th of July in Kloster Schöntal, Germany.
