ABC-Ri Associate Research Fellows are distinguished scientists whose work complements the ongoing research at ABC-Ri and is internationally recognized for its excellence. These individuals operate their laboratories in other countries or outside of Algarve and engage with ABC-Ri through short, recurrent visits, totaling a minimum of 3 weeks per year. AR Fellows are expected to actively participate in mentoring ABC-Ri Principal Investigators, postdoctoral researchers, and students, as well as contribute to advanced training and major scientific events whenever feasible.
